1. Are you Certified by NCQA?

Yes, Healthplex CVO is Certified by NCQA in all elements. Healthplex CVO is also compliant with JCAHO guidelines.

2. What type of providers do you credential?

Healthplex CVO offers credentialing services to all healthcare providers (i.e. MD, DO, DDS, PhD, MSW, PA).

3. Do you use a standard application for initial credentialing and recredentialing?

Healthplex CVO has designed a Provider Personal Profile for client use. To begin the initial credentialing process Healthplex CVO will mail or fax a blank profile to the provider. In order to make the recredentialing process faster and more efficient Healthplex CVO has created a pre-populated Provider Personal Profile in which all previous information given by the provider is already printed on the profile. Healthplex CVO will also accept a current CAQH summary report from the provider.

4. What is your average turnaround time for credentialing providers?

Healthplex CVO has formulated a structured approach to the credentialing process that can decrease the turnaround time for credentialing providers. The entire credentialing process is completed well within the 120 days allotted by NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance); however, our recent average is 25 days.

5. What is your credentialing fee per provider?

The pricing structure depends on the specific needs of the client. A client may require additional services or only desire certain elements to be verified.

6. How often do you report ongoing sanctions to clients?

In between credentialing cycles Healthplex CVO monitors ongoing sanctions on a monthly basis. Any new information found on a provider is reported to the client within 5 days.

7. How is the client informed of the completed file(s)?

Upon completion of the credentialing process the client can be notified via email, fax, or mail. The client may request all original paperwork on the provider or just a summary of the credentials verified.

8. What is your policy on disaster recovery?

All files are scanned onto an optical disk and stored off site, should our main facility be incapacitated in any way.
